Biography

Justine Cara Starke, MAP

Justine Starke has been involved with the POLIS Campus Sustainability Initiative since May 2002. She graduated with a Master of Planning from the University of British Columbia in November 2006. Her work with POLIS has focused on overcoming institutional obstacles to the implementation of sustainability programs at universities. Justine is co-author with Michael M’Gonigle of Planet U: Sustaining the World, Reinventing the University (2006). She is currently developing a strategic plan for implementing sustainability in the yachting industry from her station as a crew member on a boat in Barcelona, Spain.
