Biography

Susanne Porter-Bopp, BA, MES

Susanne Porter-Bopp joined POLIS in August 2006 after completing a Master of Environmental Studies degree at York University, where her reseach focused on national parks policy. Susanne has co-ordinated several community food security projects, and is actively involved in community radio and other local media. She likes to ride her bicycle everywhere. Her work with the Water Sustainability Project focuses on best practices of watershed governance and on how to foster water sustainability at the community level. She is also working with Michael M'Gonigle on green legal theory, a framework that critiques and seeks to transform overarching economic and political structures and processes.
